Adding Exchange Online account to MacOS

Removing an Account from Outlook on macOS:

  1. Open Outlook: Start by launching the Outlook application on your Mac.
  2. Access Account Settings: Click on 'Outlook' in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select 'Preferences'.
  3. Go to Accounts: In the Outlook Preferences window, click on the 'Accounts' icon.
  4. Select the Account to Remove: From the list of accounts on the left, click on the account you want to remove.
  5. Remove the Account: Click the minus ('-') button at the bottom of the list. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Removing an Account from Mac Mail:

  1. Open Mail: Launch the Mail application on your Mac.
  2. Open Mail Preferences: Click on 'Mail' in the menu bar at the top of the screen, then select 'Preferences'.
  3. Select Accounts: In the Preferences window, click on the 'Accounts' tab.
  4. Choose the Account to Remove: Select the account you wish to remove from the list on the left.
  5. Delete the Account: Click the minus ('-') button at the bottom of the list. Confirm when prompted.

Adding a New Exchange Online Account:

  1. Open System Preferences: Click on the Apple menu at the top left of the screen and select 'System Preferences'.
  2. Go to Internet Accounts: Click on 'Internet Accounts'.
  3. Add New Account: Click the plus ('+') button at the bottom of the list to add a new account.
  4. Select Exchange: From the list of account types, select 'Exchange'.
  5. Enter Your Details: Enter your email address and password for your Exchange Online account. Click 'Sign In'.
  6. Configure Account: Follow the prompts to configure your account settings. You might need to enter additional details like server address and username.
  7. Complete Setup: Once configured, your Exchange Online account will be added, and you should be able to access it through Mail or Outlook, depending on your preferences.

Remember to backup any important emails or information before removing an account from Outlook or Mac Mail. Also, ensure that you have the correct details for your new Exchange Online account before adding it.
