.EE domain authorization code

1. What is domain EPP code or authorization code?

The domain EPP code, also known as an authorization code or transfer code, is a unique code that is required for domain transfers between registrars. It is essentially a security measure to ensure that only the rightful owner of a domain can initiate a transfer request.

When a domain owner wants to transfer their domain to a new registrar, they will typically need to obtain the EPP code from their current registrar. This code is usually a string of characters that is unique to the domain and can be obtained through the domain management interface or by contacting the registrar's support team.

2. How to request your domain's authorization code?

You can order the code in self-service portal on the "My services" view by clicking on the domain name. On the Domain details page, find "Domain EPP key" section which opens up a menu to request for your EPP code. Code is shown to you upon pressing "Request EPP key".
