DNSSEC

What is DNSSEC?

DNSSEC is a security protocol that helps ensure the website you're visiting is actually the one you intended to visit. It does this by adding an extra layer of protection to the system that translates website names (like google.com) to their actual addresses. By digitally signing DNS records, DNSSEC provides a way to verify the authenticity and integrity of the information returned by the DNS system, making it harder for attackers to carry out these types of attacks. This helps to enhance the overall security and reliability of the internet.

How to activate DNSSEC?

To activate DNSSEC the domain needs to be registered and domain's nameservers need to point to Loginet Solutions LLC nameservers: ns1.loginet.ee and ns2.loginet.ee

When these conditions are met, you can activate DNSSEC by going to your domain in our self-service portal and clicking on your domain. In the next window navigate to "DNSSEC management" and enable DNSSEC by pressing "Enable DNSSEC" or by adding your own keys from "Advanced".
